Who we are

ASBYRGI Communication Consulting Private Limited (“ASBYRGI”, “we”) is an Indian private limited company with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana. It runs ASBYRGI, an AI media monitoring and voice research platform, in global and regional languages. This policy explains what personal data we handle and on what basis.

What this policy covers

It covers this website, and the personal data we process for clients while providing the platform and related services. Where we process data on a client’s instruction, the client is the data fiduciary and we are the data processor acting under contract, and that contract governs what happens to their data.

What we collect from this website

If you submit a form, we collect your name, company and email address, what you tell us you need, and a phone number if you ask us to call you. Where we offer a demonstration call and you ask for one, we collect the phone number you give us and a record of the call.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep our website working well and to measure its performance. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Why we process it, and on what basis

We process form submissions to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to set up the engagement. We process demonstration call numbers solely to place the one call you asked for.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the personal data you give us through this website, and we process it on the basis of your consent (section 6). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: write to the address at the end of this page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it.

For client work, the client is the data fiduciary and we process personal data on the client’s documented instructions, under a written contract, and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become an engagement is deleted 24 months after our last contact with you, and you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. The number you give for a demonstration call is deleted 30 days after the call. Client data is kept for the retention period written into that client’s contract, and deleted at the end of it.

Records we must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept for the period the law requires and no longer.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the subprocessors named on our compliance page, and only so they can perform the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your email address or phone number to anyone not named there.

We disclose data where the law requires it, and tell you when we are permitted to.

Where it is stored

Enquiries sent through this website are processed by our hosting and email providers, whose servers may be outside India, including in Singapore. Client data is processed and stored in Indian regions by default, and any exception is named in the client’s contract before it applies.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent you have given. You may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Where we hold your data on behalf of a client, we will refer your request to that client and help them answer it.

These are your rights under sections 11 to 14 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: to a summary of the personal data we process and who we have shared it with, to correction, completion, updating and erasure, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another person. We acknowledge every request within 7 days and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the staff working on the account it belongs to.

If a personal data breach happens, we inform each person affected without delay, in plain language: what happened, when, the likely consequences, what we are doing about it, and what you can do to protect yourself. We inform the Data Protection Board of India without delay, and send it a detailed report within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Where we act for a client, we tell the client without delay so it can meet its own obligations.

Children

This website is intended for business use and not directed at children. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child through it.

A child is anyone under 18. Our AI voice calls are made only to adults on lists a client warrants were collected with consent. We do not call a number we know to belong to a child, and if we learn that a call reached a child we end it and delete the record. Any client work that is meant to reach children requires verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian under section 9 of the Act, and we do not track, profile or target advertising at children.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be notified to clients under their contract.
